Upcoming Sunday School Class - The Bible and Justice (Part I: Jun 14 – Jul 19; six lessons) in CE Rms 202-203 with Daric Lee, Lawrence Lim, and Pastor Mike Hsu - This two-part Sunday school series explores the biblical foundation of justice through the lens of the Bible, drawing also from Generous Justice by Timothy Keller and The Prophetic Imagination by Walter Brueggemann. In this first part, we will examine what the Old and New Testaments teach about “doing justice,” how justice reflects the character of God, and why it is an essential aspect of Christian discipleship. Together, we will explore how biblical justice encompasses personal compassion, right relationships, mercy, and care for the vulnerable, while fostering respectful dialogue and thoughtful theological reflection.
